BENGALURU: A 35-year-old-techie was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his flat at Prestige Shantiniketan apartment in Kadugodi on Saturday.

Sohan, a native of West Bengal, lived alone and worked at a software company in Whitefield.

The police said that the incident happened on Thursday. Sohan had his food and then fell asleep. His friends who live close by knocked repeatedly to no response from Sohan, who had locked the door from inside. The friends then alerted Kadugodi police who rushed to the spot and broke into the apartment.

The officials found him dead on his bed.

A police officer said there was no external injury and that the officials were waiting for a postmortem report. Police are questioning Sohan’s friends as part of the probe.

Sohan’s family is yet to reach Bengaluru.
