BENGALURU: Chief minister Siddaramiah warned that all encroachments on storm water drains will be removed. Even influential and big builders are not spared.

On Monday CM was speaking to reporters after garlanding to former CM nijalingappa's statue in his death anniversary. He said the encroacher list might have big builders, influential person and other big wife. No one will be spared. He said there is allegation that at some places, storm water drains are diverted to facilitate builders and developers. If there is any proof action can be taken.

Further CM said they can understand people's grief who lost  their houses. We are also equally concerned. " But when it rains, it floods. This is because of the encroachment. People blame it on bbmp and state government.  Now that we are removing encroachment to prevent flooding,  We are blamed again. We need to think of hundreds of people whose properties damaged during flooding,"he said.

CM also said there  is mistake from official side too. Action will be taken against them. "I have ordered for a probe"he added.
