Former IAS officer opposes Bhat's appointment

BENGALURU: Former IAS officer M N Vijaykumar has come out strongly against the appointment of T Sham Bhat as Chairman of Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC). At press conference here on Wednesday, he said Bhat’s appointment would lead to complete erosion of the organisation’s credibility. He added that he had requested an appointment with the Governor to convince him about Sham Bhat’s many misdeeds, but was not given an opportunity.

“Everyone knows what he did when he was at BDA. We will run a campaign until he is removed from KPSC as we need someone with impeccable credentials to this post. he said.

“That he has been appointed to this post despite all the complaints against him, is condemnable. If he was not appointed to the post, then the Chief Minister himself would be in danger of going to jail. That is why he is protecting Bhat. Despite everything, Bhat will go to jail,” he said.
