BENGALURU: Frustrated by family problems, a 35 year old person has hacked his wife and two children to death in Maligondanahalli in the outskirts of Bengaluru.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Satish (35), a daily wage labourer, his wife Manjula and their children Vijay (5) and Shreya (2).
Police said, the incident took place on Wednesday night when Satish quarreled with Manjula over a family dispute. Satish then began assaulting his wife.
On witnessing the violence, their children started crying loudly. Annoyed by it, he first strangled Manjula and then his two children. After that Satish allegedly committed suicide. The incident came to light on Thursday morning.
“We suspect that he may have committed the crime in inebriated state and later committed suicide. Investigations are underway,” the inspector said.
