Police lathicharge ABVP protesters in Bengaluru

Hundreds of students were protesting and trying to enter the Amnesty office at Indiranagar in city.

BENGALURU: The police have again proceeded lathi charge on the students who were protesting in front of Amnesty International in the city on Friday. In the protest lead by Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Hundreds of students were protesting and trying to enter the Amnesty office at Indiranagar in city. When they tried to enter forcefully police proceeded lathi charge.

In the lathi charge four students injured, where one student injured on his head and three fell unconscious. However, the police have shifted them to the hospital immediately.

The protest was demanding action against Amnesty international which organised event a week back where anti national slogans were shouted.
