BENGALURU: As many as 25,000 contract pourakarmikas’ jobs will be regularised by the end of March 2017, said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah here on Friday. He said the salaries of contract pourakarmikas will be revised to bring it on par with permanent employees. Also, from this month, pourakarmikas working in BBMP will receive Rs 17,040 per month, in city corporation limits Rs 16,650, town municipal corporation limits Rs 13,290 and town and in village panchayats they will receive Rs 12,870 per month, he said.
