George fields 80 questions by CID team

BENGALURU: Former home minister KJ George, who was summoned to the CID office on Friday in connection with the suicide case of DySP MK Ganapathi, has reportedly told the CID team that he never met the police officer over his professional issues and he was unaware of departmental inquiry against him.

George, who went to the CID office in the afternoon and came out in the evening, told reporters, “I can’t reveal anything of the interrogation and will always cooperate in the investigation.”

Over 80 questions answered by George were related to allegations made by Ganapathi that he had approached George twice over interference in his transfers and also to discuss the Mangaluru church attack incidents.
