13-year-old student goes missing

BENGALURU: A 13-year-old girl has been missing for the past three days. Puujita M K, a Class 8 student, lived with her family in Devaiah Park in Malleswaram.

year.jpgSpeaking to Express, the girl’s parents, Madhukiran and Padmini, said that on August 24, she went to school but did not return home in the evening. “We checked with the school and found that she did not attend classes. We then approached Sriramapura police and filed a missing person’s complaint,” they explained.

Her parents said that she had taken a pair of clothes and `610. When she left for school in the morning, she told her mother Padmini that she was carrying extra clothes as she had drama practice. Madhukiran told Express that a week ago, she was talking about Assam and said it would be a good place to visit.

A family friend said Puujita was last seen wearing her school uniform -- white shirt with brown stripes, brown skirt, maroon jacket

She was also carrying a black top, black tights and white duppatta. Her school bag is a red colour backpack (American Tourister).
