MYSURU: A 33-year-old woman who was undergoing treatment for infertility died here on Saturday. Pushpa, a resident of Mahadevapura, who was undergoing treatment from last two years in a private hospital on Sayyaji Rao Road, died while undergoing laparoscopic surgery.
Pushpa family members who alleged that wrong treatment led to her death have registered a complaint at Mandi Police Station.
According to relatives, after administering an injection, she became unconscious and was rushed to operation theater to perform laparoscopic surgery. But after some time, the doctors declared she was dead.
Pushpa was married to Srinivas, a manager in SBI in Mysuru Branch four years ago. Police have registered an unnatural death case.
