BENGALURU:  Three days after two actors drowned in the Thippegondanahalli lake while filming a stunt sequence, the body of one of them, Anil, was found in the reservoir early Thursday.  The body of the other actor, Uday, was found yesterday.

Rescuers of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) found Anil’s body floating on the surface at about 5.20 am Thursday morning. The search operation had resumed early in the morning using high voltage flash lights.

Anil’s brother Harish said the body will be cremated at 3 pm after keeping it at the actor’s residence in Kadrehalli to let his friends and relatives pay their last respects.

Uday’s cremation too is scheduled for the same time, sources said. The actors drowned on Monday evening while shooting the climax scenes of the movie Masti Gudi.

Duniya Vijay, actor who was working with the ill-fated duo when the mishap took place, requested people not to share pictures of Anil’s body on social media, as was done when Uday was found yesterday. Fellow actor Jaggesh also issued a similar appeal.

The search operation continued to locate another person who is feared to have drowned in the lake on Tuesday. According to the police, Yellaiah was present in the crowd that gathered around the lake to see the search operation. He has been missing since Tuesday after a commotion on the banks of the reservoir.
