Rs 10 lakh worth of hashish oil seized

BENGALURU: The Narcotics Control Bureau zonal units of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana together seized 1.9 kg of Hashish oil on November 10. A 28-year-old foreigner has been arrested in this regard. The NCB officials said, “Around `10 lakh worth of hashish oil was concealed inside ten 500 gm branded tea boxes. The incident came to light after the courier company found the packing fishy. They alerted the NCB following which the arrest was made. Further investigation is being done to find out the involvement of others in drug trafficking.” Hashish oil disrupts nerve cells in the brain and can have serious health hazards, read a press note from the NCB, Bengaluru.
