The Rohan Bopanna Tennis Academy started by well-known tennis player, Rohan Boppana and EduSports, a sports startup, entered into an agreement on Saturday whereby the former will provide coaching to  trainers of EduSports. They will inturn coach students in the 260  schools.

Talking about plans to implement the project in the state, Jyoti Majumdar, Co-founder Edusports, told CE, “We have been approaching the state educational department to extend our support to discover new talents. It will, however, take some time to implement the plan.” They have not, however, received a green signal from the government as yet. Jyothi also believes that sports training could bring more kids to school.

Boppana for Demonetization
Speaking on the occasion, Bopanna expressed his support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s  demonetisation initiative. “His aim is to bring a positive change in our country,” he says.
