BENGALURU: In an unusual case, a complaint has been filed against a 30-year-old woman accusing her of having married seven men and collecting several lakhs as alimony from each of them.

The accused has been identified as Yasmin Banu. The complaint was filed by her first husband Syed Imran and her fourth husband Afzal Pasha separately in K G Halli police station.

Police said Syed Imran, a resident of Sarayipalya in Thanisandra in his complaint said, “I was in love with Yasmin and we tied the knot in 2007.

“Later, I noticed that Yasmin had many male friends. She was once caught red handed while she was going with a man named Abrar. I saw them kissing inside a car. I had slapped both of them then. Abrar had come with his associates to my house on the same day and assaulted me.”

Police said, “After Yasmin and Imran’s marriage ended, she married a 60 year man — Zaid Sait and divorced him six months later. She got around Rs 11 lakh from him.

“Later, she married Siraj, a resident of Govindapura and collected Rs 5.5 lakh after divorcing him as well. Afzal Pasha married her later and their relationship remained only for a year. She collected Rs 2.5 lakh from him when she divorced him.

The complainants have accused Yasmin of marrying three more men and divorcing them to collect alimony.

“I paid my ex-wife Yasmin Rs 2.5 lakh to get back my elder daughter. She has sold my younger daughter to a man named Shoaib,” Imran told police.

The KG Halli police have taken up a case and investigations are underway.
