BENGALURU: The state government will celebrate the 126th birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar with an international conference to be held in the city. The conference to be held between July 23 and 25 will be on the theme ‘Reclaiming Social Justice, Revisiting Ambedkar’.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who released a logo for the event at a press conference on Saturday, said that at least 2,000 delegates will participate. Of these, 83 international speakers, 149 from other states and 80 speakers from Karnataka are scheduled to deliver papers at the conference.
The conference will be attended by Martin Luther King 3, human rights advocate and the eldest son of Martin Luther King Jr and AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi. For details log on to www.questforequity.org
