Two held for stabbing man in Kamalanagar

Police on Tuesday arrested two persons, including a PUC student, allegedly for murdering a youth in front of his house in Kamalanagar on Sunday.

BENGALURU: Police on Tuesday arrested two persons, including a PUC student, allegedly for murdering a youth in front of his house in Kamalanagar on Sunday.The arrested are Chethan (23), a resident of Bydarahalli on Magadi Road and Shivakumar (21), a resident of Kamakshipalya.
On Sunday, the duo allegedly murdered Madan (24), a private firm employee in front of his house after a fight broke over a trivial issue.

According to police, around 7.30 pm on Sunday Madan was reversing his car near his house to park it properly. Chethan, who was coming on a two-wheeler, did not notice it and collided with the car. Although there were no damages Madan and Chethan quarrelled over the accident. Madan allegedly abused Chethan after which Chethan came back to the spot of the accident along with Shivakumar and picked a fight with Madan again.

Shivakumar was carrying a knife with him and in a fit of rage, stabbed Madan in his chest before fleeing from the spot.Passersby who saw Madan lying in a pool of blood rushed him to K C General Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.A complaint was filed in Basaveshwaranagar police station. Police later got information about the whereabouts of the accused and nabbed them in Summanahalli Junction.
