BENGALURU:A video clip of miscreants breaking into a car in HSR Layout has gone viral on social media. The video, which was uploaded by the car owner, has crossed 14,000 views in just two days.
Renjith Mohandas, a resident fo HSR Layout, has posted the video on Facebook and Youtube in an attempt to create awareness about the modus operandi of the criminals. The incident took place on May 27 and Mohandas uploaded the video a day later. In his post on a social media site, he said the incident took place in front of Rashtrakuta Restaurant in HSR Layout when he had stepped into his gym, leaving the car parked on the main road.
Later, he found that miscreants had broken the car window and taken a CD pouch, mistaking it for a money bag. He then availed the CCTV footage from a nearby restaurant and posted it on social media. He has lodged a complaint with the HSR Layout police.
