Rajdhani Express to run on diverted route from July

The South Western Railway (SWR) on Saturday said that Train No.22693/22694 KSR Bengaluru-H Nizamuddin-KSR Bengaluru Rajdhani Tri-Weekly Express will run as Train No. 22691/22692 KSR Bengaluru-H Nizamu

BENGALURU: The South Western Railway (SWR) on Saturday said that Train No.22693/22694 KSR Bengaluru-H Nizamuddin-KSR Bengaluru Rajdhani Tri-Weekly Express will run as Train No. 22691/22692 KSR Bengaluru-H Nizamuddin-KSR Bengaluru Rajdhani Express in a diverted route with effect from July 1 from KSR Bengaluru and from July 2 from H. Nizamuddin.

According to the release issued by railways on Saturday, the diverted route of the train with commercial stoppage will be via Dharmavaram, Ananthapur, Guntakal, Raichur and Seram instead of Dharmavaram, Gooty and Dhone.

Train No. 22691 KSR Bengaluru-H Nizamuddin Tri-Weekly (Tuesday, Friday and Saturday) Rajdhani Express will arrive/depart at Dharmavaram -23:20/23.22 hrs, Anantapur-23:53/ 23:55, Guntakal- 01:05/01:10 hrs, Raichur-02.43/02.45 hrs and Seram-04:44/04:45 hrs

Train No. 22692 H Nizamuddin-KSR Bengaluru Tri-Weekly (Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday) Rajdhani Express will arrive/depart at Seram-20:58/21.00 hrs, Raichur-23:08/23:10 hrs, Guntakal-01:00/01:05 hrs, Anantapur-02:18/02:20 hrs and DharmavaramÂ-03:25/03.30 hrs.

There is no change in timings between KSR Bengaluru to Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam and Secunderabad to H Nizamuddin Stations.

Special train to clear summer rush
The railways also said that a special Bi-weekly train as detailed below will be run between Tiruchchirappalli and Krishnarajapuram to clear the extra rush during summer -

Train No.06049/06050 Tiruchchirappalli-Krishnarajapuram-Tiruchchirappalli Bi-weekly Special with Special Fare.

Train No.06049 Tiruchchirappalli-Krishnarajapuram Biweekly Special will leave Tiruchchirappalli at 06.00 hrs on Sundays and Wednesdays to arrive at Krishnarajapuram 14.30 hrs on the same day.

In the return direction,

Train No.06050 Krishnarajapuram-Tiruchchirappalli Bi-weekly Special will leave Krishnarajapuram at 21.30 hrs on Sundays and Wednesdays and arrive at Tiruchchirappalli at 06.15 hrs on Mondays and Thursdays.

The first service of the trains will be on March 19, 2017 and the last service will be on June 28, 2017.The train will have stoppages at Tiruchirapalli Fort, Kulithalai, Karur, Mohanur, Namakkal, Rasipuram, Salem, Kuppam and Bangarpet in both Directions.

The train will have a composition of 2 Three tier Second Class Sleeper Coaches, 5 General Second Class Chair Cars, 2-General Second Class Coaches, 5 General Second Class Chair Cars and 2 Second Class Cum luggage and Brake Vans.
