Unable to bear sound of Bullet bike, techie sets it on fire

Bengaluru: A software engineer here set a Bullet bike on fire because he loathed the sound the two-wheeler made. The accused Ankush (27) works in a software firm at JP Nagar and is allegedly addicted to drugs. He had set three bikes on fire earlier too.

The complaint was lodged by Jayakumar, a native of Andhra Pradesh, after his new Royal Enfield Bullet bike was set on fire on March 24 in his apartment complex. Ankush was arrested based on CCTV footage.

During interrogation, Ankush said that he was not able to bear the sound of Bullet and other bikes and the sound disturbed his sleep. In fact, in a couple of instances, he had even pelted stones at the apartments of the owners of these bikes.
