BENGALURU: “He is alive. I don’t believe that he was washed away in the drainage. Today is our fourth wedding anniversary and I will celebrate it with him,” Saraswarthi, wife of Shanthkumar told Express on Sunday.
The couple hails from Maddur in Mandya district and they have two sons Mounish Gowda and Druhith Gowda.
“Shanthkumar had left home in a car around 6.30am on Saturday. Before leaving, he hugged sons playing outside the house. He had gone to Peenya on Friday and when he came back on Saturday morning, he did not come inside. He told me he would come early after the work. And I am sure he will be back on Monday,” said Saraswarthi, adding he might be stuck somewhere, waiting for help.
“He always takes care of me and is the best husband. He has never hurt me since our marriage,” Saraswathi added.
