VTU signs MoU with HireMee

HireMee, a web portal and mobile application that connects the corporate world with academic institutions for faster and easier placements has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Visvesvar

BENGALURU: HireMee, a web portal and mobile application that connects the corporate world with academic institutions for faster and easier placements has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).

HireMee offers free assessment to a million students and pro bono recruiting services to 1000 companies this year. HireMee aspires to enable students get 100,000 jobs this year, the firm said in a release.
Under the agreement, HireMee will provide its unique skill testing and recruitment platform solutions to all students in colleges affiliated to VTU. As part of the agreement, VTU will support HireMee in extending its services to all its affiliated institutions by increasing awareness about HireMee among the student community, the release stated.

The MoU was signed on Thursday, in the presence of stakeholders from both VTU and HireMee.  VTU Vice Chancellor - Dr Karisiddappa, Registrar Dr H N Jagannatha Reddy, Director, Centralized Placement Head- Dr Binoy Mathew, Regional Director Dr K Gayathri Reddy, HireMee Founder, Chocko Valliappa, and the Chief Advisor Krishnan Kuppusamy and Dr Krishnamurthy, Principal, BNMIT were present.
HireMee is a CSR initiative of Vee Technologies which is part of the Sona Valliappa Group.
