BENGALURU: Two foreign nationals were arrested by a CID team on charges of stealing details of ATM cards at the Kempegowda International Airport. CID said Dan Sabin Christian (40) of Romania and Mare Janos (44) of Hungary were arrested from the airport on September 12 for allegedly installing skimmers at five different cash dispensers in the city.

Acting on a complaint filed by officials of Kotak Mahindra Bank, CID sleuths managed to nab the two from the bank ATM at the airport. The men were part of an organised crime gang based out of UK. Their modus operandi involved collection of information, including PIN codes of ATM cards and storing them in memory cards. They would then share the information with other gang members.
