CHENNAI: The police filed a 300-page chargesheet in the Keerthivasan kidnap case at Ambattur Judicial Magistrate Court on Tuesday.

 The two- R Vijay Kumar (26), an engineering graduate with an MBA from a foreign university, and K Prabhu (29), a diploma holder in mechanical engineering-- had kidnapped Keerthivasan and kept him in captivity. “This offence alone amounts to life sentence under 364 (A),’’ S Panneerselvam, deputy commissioner of police, Anna Nagar, said.

He added that they had booked the two under 11 sections of the IPC for forging documents to obtain fake mobile SIM card, criminal conspiracy to kidnap and demanding ransom.
