Bar council issues stern warning

Stringent action will be taken against those who attempt to disrupt the eligibility test to be conducted on Sunday (December 9)for new entrants to the  legal profession, Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry warned on Wednesday.

In a release, council chairman D Selvam said that the test will be conducted between 11 a m  and 2 p m at four centres in Chennai and two centres each in Trichy and Coimbatore.

The hall ticket will be despatched to the aspirants through the e-mail they have mentioned in their application forms from December 5 onwards.

Those who did not receive the hall tickets through the above methods could approach the nearest exam centre one hour before thecommencement of the test and write the same after producing their lawyer ID cards to the exam supervisors, Selvam added. The four centres in Chennai are Dr Ambedkar Law College, Law University, Queen Mary’s College and Presidency College.

In Tiruchy,  Government Law College and National College are the centers while Coimbatore has Government Law College and Barathiyar University as centres.
