Kumbhabhishekam performed 

The Kumbhabhishekam of the new Rajagopuram of Sankada Hara Vinayakar sannidhi at the Siva-Vishnu Temple in Madipakkam was performed on Monday.

The Kumbhabhishekam of the new Rajagopuram of Sankada Hara Vinayakar sannidhi at the Siva-Vishnu Temple in Madipakkam was performed on Monday.

Along with the 16-feet tall gopuram, a five-and-half foot idol of Sri Maha Veera Bhadra Swamy with his consort Swarnambikai Ammal was also consecrated. Hundreds of devotees watched the rituals which began at 5.30 am to the chanting of vedas and culminated with the kumbhabhishekam at 9.30 am.

Prasadam was distributed to the devotees at the end of the ceremony and later annadhanam was also organised.
