SRM University welcomes freshers

Students selected through the SRM entrance examination received a warm welcome on the orientation day for this year that was held on the Kattankulathur campus. The session was for students who have been admitted into various engineering disciplines in the university main campus.

Speaking on the occasion, SRM University chancellor T R  Pachamuthu said that the students were about to start a new journey in life and the varsity would guide, support and help them in every step of the learners.

He said that the institution incorporated an ideal environment with fully-equipped facilities and infrastructure to kindle their interest and become achievers in life. The Chancellor added that the campus had state-of-the-art equipment for the requirements of the students in various streams.

The chancellor also said that the university was producing over five lakh engineering gradutes per year and provided all the required facilities for them to reach their goals. He also said that students got placed in multinational companies during campus recruitment and with 3,000 learners placed in various companies
