With the discontinuation of the telegrams from July 15, India Post has put the spotlight on ePost, an email-based posting service similar to telegram. The service is available all across the state and will cost Rs 10 per A4 sheet of hand-written or printed message that is to be delivered at the receiver’s doorstep. Stating that this is similar to the wire service, India Post, in a release, expressed confidence that that this would enjoy the patronage of customers as it is cost-effective and efficient.
