Filmmaker Balu Mahendra inaugurated an exhibition of paintings by artist Abdul Rauffnisthar recently. Best known for his abstract and realistic works, the artist has extensively worked in mixed media. He has been part of many shows, both and solo and group. These include shows at Gandhi Museum, 1997, Tamilnadu Theological Seminary, Madurai, 2000 and four exhibitions at Writer’s Association and 2004. The exhibition is on till July 28 at No. 1/ 131, First Floor, Lakshmanaswamy Salai, First Sector, K K Nagar.
