New book chain in the city

Starmark, Kolkata’s leading leisure store has forayed into the Chennai market for the first time! To meet the city’s long-felt need for a modern bookstore, Starmark has opened a 15,000 sq ft outlet at Express Avenue, offering a wide range and variety of books, school and office stationery, music, movies, toys, gifts and a hobby zone.

Actor and television anchor Anu Hasan inaugurated the bookstore chain on Saturday. The actor revealed that she is quite the reader herself and in fact has a large library of her own at home!

The store hosts an interesting ‘Hobby Ideas’ section with a wide range of products like decoupage craftwork paper, parchment kits, parchment papers, molding kits, aeromolding kits, fabric colour outliners, engraving art kits and lots more. The Starmark store also stocks accessories that include craft tools for paper quilling and parchment tools amongst others.

STARMARK pioneers a new concept of a multi-faceted bookstore catering to every member of a family. Speaking on this occasion, Gautam Jatia, CEO Starmark, said, “ It has been a very adventurous journey in which at every step we have we have had to take on new challenges to offer the best to our customers.
