Her and re-entered the Darshan Hall. Rajaram, who had a rich baritone voice prostrated at Pujya Guruji’s Lotus Feet and received His Blessings. He had gathered a few devotees together to practice bhajans, which could be sung at Ashram events.

Pujya Guruji asked him - “How is your bhajan practice going?” Rajaram said, “We just began two days ago Pujya Guruji. There were very few people as many of them were busy. Fortunately all the people in the group sing well and are quick learners.”

Shri Nimishananda Guruji said, “I will give you the lyrics of a few songs which offer devotion to the Divine Mother. I will pick out special songs which particularly suit your voice and singing style. Include them in your repertoire.”

“Singing bhajans fills the heart with devotion and expands the mind. Sadhana expands the mind. The important thing is to take care that the mind does not shrink back to its small petty size again. As long as the expansion continues, progress on the path is swift.”

Mekhala asked Pujya Guruji, “When something that we do goes exceptionally well and people compliment us, pride creeps in before we are even aware of it.”

Shri Nimishananda Guruji said, “If you find yourself feeling proud of any accomplishment, capacity or talent, remember that all abilities and opportunities are given to us by God.

By ourselves we have nothing and can accomplish nothing. That is why the scriptures say that even a blade of grass cannot move without the Grace of God.”
