It was a memorable day for Rajasthan lad Rajesh Kumar Yogi, as he received 24 gold medals from Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah on Tuesday.

A graduate of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Yogi was the cynosure of all eyes during the 16th convocation address of Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University as he was bestowed with 24 gold medals.

“It is too heavy,” he said as he held it for the photographers who lapped it up with their cameras.

Talking to City Express, Yogi said that he wanted to serve people. “I want to be in the field rather than talking about agriculture or livestock in closed rooms,” he said.

Interestingly, Yogi already has an offer from the Rajasthan government.

“I will be joining as a veterinary officer in the State,” said Yogi, who is a resident of Sikar in Rajasthan.
