Month-old Boy stolen from ESI HOsp

CHENNAI: A month-old baby boy was allegedly stolen from his house on Saturday by an unidentified woman who gained acquaintance with the baby’s mother on the pretext of looking for a house on rent in the locality. John Jebaraj and his wife Tamilarasi of Thirumullaivoyal had on Friday visited the ESI hospital at Ayanavaram for a regular check up for their newborn baby. According to the police, a woman aged around 45 years gained the confidence of the couple saying that she visited the hospital for her daughter’s delivery, adding that she was looking for a house on rent in Thirumullaivoyal and sought help from the couple.
