Play on Violence Against Women

CHENNAI: Rotary Club of Chennai Coastal in association with the Interact Club organised a play titled She at Agarwal Vidyalaya School auditorium recently. Directed by actor-director Brinda Das, the play threw light on eliminating violence against women. The chief guest district governor rotarian ISAK Nazar said that the play would be staged in the district conference, which will be held in February. “There has to be an overall awarness in promoting gender equality,” said Nazar. Rotarian Niraj Malik thanked his fellow rotarians, the principal of the school, Brinda Das and the Interact Club students for putting up a great show.  Rotarian Ajay Kumar Gupta was also present among others.
