‘V-Doctor’ Bags Award

CHENNAI: The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) awarded the Best Enterprise Award to Balaji and Goutham, final-year ECE students of Sri Muthukumaran Institute of Technology, for their project titled ‘V-Doctor’.

V-Doctor (Virtual Doctor) machine, is helpful to the rural people to detect diseases and report it to the remotely-available doctors to get medicines. The project was adjudged one of the best models in India by a panel of judges from IEEE at the US.

V-Doctor will create a positive impact on society and the health industry. The one-of-its-kind project will help the poor people who are not aware of the current health issues, said a press release.
