CHENNAI: Indian Community Welfare Organisation , in association with Ethiraj College for Women, SAATHII and Rotary Club of Chennai-Gemini, organised World AIDS Day 2014 rally on December 1 on the Marina Beach. Dr TN Vallinayagam, former judge, High Court of Madras, flagged off the rally. The need to create awareness on HIV/AIDS was highlighted at the rally. About 500 students from various colleges took part in the rally carrying placards bearing messages on HIV/AID. The event saw the participation of the world’s youngest AIDS activist Aradhana Sharon, a class-2 student of Chennai Public School, Anna Nagar.
