‘World Fest Day’ Celebrated

CHENNAI: Over 150 kindergarten children of Vael’s Billabong High International School, Neelankarai celebrated the ‘World Fest Day’ on the school campus recently with their parents.  The celebration was made meaningful with the management handing over the mobilised funds amounting ` 85,000 to the aid of inmates of an old age home. The celebrations that started with a fashion show by the tiny tots was followed by the dragon dance of China, Hula dance of Hawaii, Belly dance of the Middle East and an Indian dance. Also there were food stalls that had Sushi (of Japan), noodles (of China), hibiscus tea, pasta, pizza and brownie, besides gaming activities.
