CHENNAI: Stella Maris College Extension Project Centre at Thirupachur Village, Tiruvallur District of Tamil Nadu, was inaugurated by Rev George Antonysamy, Archbishop of Madras-Mylapore recently. The Centre will be open to all staff and students of the The Franciscan Missionaries of Mary (FMM) schools and colleges. Students can come to the centre to experience rural life and reach out to the local community in a mutually-beneficial environment, and learn to build a vibrant community that is self-sufficient and active in development work.
