CHENNAI: Day three of the Elite Super Sixes indoor cricket tournament presented by Bathcaff and co-sponsored by Jineshwar Capitals and Infra Venture at Netzz Cricket, on the roof top of Citi Centre Mall, saw many individual performances, even as RYA Metro grimly clung on to the coveted top spot.

The first two matches saw RYA Metro and BYA share honours with one win each. Then, Vishal Kankariya starred in RCC Diva’s to a win over RCC Platinum in Match 19 of the event.

In the second tie between the same teams, Platinum’s Ravi Chandaliya, one of the contenders for the orange cap, the award for the leading run scorer in the event, came up with an explosive knock to help his team outfox the Divas and even the scores. Later on, Kunal Khicha claimed two consecutive player of the match awards as his team RCC Magnum handed back-to-back defeats to Metro.

Magnum were not done though, as in the last two matches of the day,  Abhishek Lodha starred, helping his team beat Diva in both ties and in the process, bagging two ‘man of the match’ prizes for himself.
