Get ready for a Glasgow trip

CHENNAI: For the past few years, Strathclyde’s South India Alumni Group has served as a bridge between alumni and students in India. This year is no different, as the organisation is holding a pre-departure event for prospective Strathclyde students at Raj Hall, The Residency Towers, T Nagar, between 2 and 6 pm, today. 

The programme will help students understand the Scotland education system, culture and the job scenario in the UK.

Organised and sponsored by the distinguished alumni, University of Strathclyde, the discussion will throw light on various aspects such as arrival, accommodation, registration, food, culture, Glasgow and the University of Strathclyde – the positives, student life at Strathclyde compared to other Indian institutions, finding part-time jobs, how best students should position themselves so that they find suitable employment upon graduation and so on.
