Two Youth Riding Triples Killed

Two youth hailing from Tambaram were killed on Friday when the bike in which they were riding triples rammed on a mini-truck parked on the roadside near Chengalpattu.

CHENNAI: Two youth hailing from Tambaram were killed on Friday when the bike in which they were riding triples rammed on a mini-truck parked on the roadside near Chengalpattu. Police said the victims V Manikandan (21) and P Sekar (22), both residents of East Tambaram, were riding along with another friend S Vigneshwaran (23) when the accident took place. “They were apparently speeding in the bike. As the bike neared Chengapattu on the GST Road, it lost balance and hit the vehicle that was parked on the roadside,” said a police officer.
