Endocrine Society Conference

The mid-term conference of the Endocrine Society of India and the 2nd annual conference of the Endocrine Society of Tamilnadu & Pondicherry will be held on July 19 and 20 July at the ITC Grand Chola.

CHENNAI: The mid-term conference of the Endocrine Society of India and the 2nd annual conference of the Endocrine Society of Tamilnadu & Pondicherry will be held on July 19 and 20 July at the ITC Grand Chola.

TRENDS 2014, as the events have been branded, will comprise symposia, debates, orations, plenaries, clinical care seminars and meet-the-expert sessions spread over two days on virtually all aspects of endocrinology theory, research and practice.

Among the international faculty addressing the events are Prof Mark Walker, MD FRCP, University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK and Prof M Nillson, MD PhD, Lund University, Sweden.

The other speakers at the conferences represent the who’s who of endocrinology practice, pedagogy and research in India. Dr S Murthy, Endocrinology Research Centre, Chennai, is the Organising Chairperson of TRENDS 2014 while Dr Muthukumaran Jayapaul of the Arka Center for Hormonal Health is the organising secretary.
