Heritage quiz to be held on July 19

Cycle Pure Agarbathies is conducting a heritage quiz which focuses solely on the heritage of India, for schoolchildren.

CHENNAI: Cycle Pure Agarbathies is conducting a heritage quiz which focuses solely on the heritage of India, for schoolchildren. The competition will be held for students of class eight to 10 from city schools, at Chimnaya Heritage Centre, Harrington Road, Chetpet, on July 19.

The last date for schools to register for the competition is July 15, said a press release. Arjun Ranga, managing director, Cycle Pure Agarbathies, said “Cycle Heritage quiz is an attempt to provide a platform for the children to explore and appreciate the rich cultural heritage that they are bestowed with, and to empower them to successfully adapt to diversity.”

“We have organised the quiz in major cities like Kolkata and Ahmedabad earlier and will be hosting it in 12 major cities this year. We are planning to make it an annual event in Chennai,” added Ranga. For registration, call 98841 88151.
