CHENNAI: Greater Chennai District Exnora and Sri RKM Sarada Vidyalaya Girls Higher Secondary School, T Nagar, jointly organised a special programme on Thursday in commemoration of World Environment Day.

Speaking on the occasion, R Govindaraj, joint general secretary, Exnora International, said that the city environment could be made better by growing more number of plants in the vicinity. This in turn will help reduce pollution, he added. By using simple techniques like composting, home gardening and terrace gardening, one could live in harmony with nature, he said.
