CHENNAI: Four days have passed since Dr Emma Gonsalvez, a senior citizen living alone, was murdered at her posh apartment in Egmore, but the police are yet to nab the elusive perpetrator of the crime. The gadget mechanic and prime suspect whose image was picked up from the CCTV footages could not be traced by the city police.

Though the police had ascertained the identity of the mechanic, they aren’t able to reach the accused for further interrogation.

The grab clearly shows the mechanic visiting the psychotherapist between 5.30 pm and 6.10 pm and walking out with two bags while he carried only one bag while he entered the apartment.

Several teams are working on the leads to find out the probable hiding holes of the accused.
