CHENNAI: Learn to cook Italian Pasta and Risotto from expert chefs at Park Hyatt, where the hotel is all set to tantalise the taste buds of Chennai foodies with a true Italian flair this month. Home-made, hearty dishes will be crafted by the chefs of The Flying Elephant at the Pasta and Risotto Promotion from June 20 to 30. Orchestrated by executive chef Grzegorz Odolak and chef Megha Balasubramanian, a special line-up of a la carte offerings has been designed to bring an Italian touch to the vibrant culinary theatre of The Flying Elephant.

Some of the highlights of the menu will be lobster and scallop risotto, three cheeses and polenta agnolotti with edamame, mixed mushrooms, herb butter, and a 12-hour-braised rabbit bolognaise.

For sweet lovers the wait for il dolce is worth it, as the rice pudding parfait with fresh mango and passion fruit sauce matches up to be a befitting ending to a decadent meal during this season of ripe, golden mangoes.

The cooking class initiated by chef Greg and chef Megha has been designed to let out some secret tricks of the trade as a mid-sized group of learners get their hands into the pasta and later relishing the fruits of their labour.

The pasta and isotto cooking class will be conducted with the theme of handmade pasta and variety of risotto on June 25 from 11 to 2 pm at The Flying Elephant. Priced at `2500, for reservations, call 044 7177 1234.
