A ‘classical’ one year celebration

CHENNAI: Singer Nithyasree Mahadevan performed a classical concert on the first anniversary of JewelOne’s exclusive showroom in Mylapore, Kshetra Swara Yathra, on June 21 at Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall.

The theme of the event was based on the pilgrimage sites of India. Nithyasree’s songs were dedicated to the holy pilgrimage sites from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. The concert also featured a special Sand art show by Latha.

Speaking on the occasion, K Srinivasan, managing director of Emerald Jewel Idustry India Limited (EJIIL), the company behind JewelOne, said, “We have more than two lakh designs in our portfolio. Exclusive showroom gives us the opportunity to display more variety.”

EJIIL launched its own jewellery brand under the brand name JewelOne. JewelOne has showrooms across 12 locations in Tamil Nadu namely Puducherry, Kallakurichi, Karur, Coimbatore, Vellore, Chennai, Ramanathapuram, Pollachi, Udumalpet, Erode, Salem and Hosur. EJIIL entered the Chennai jewellery retail market with its showroom in 2013 with Shruthi Haasan as its brand ambassador. It has a manufacturing capacity of more than 24 tonnes of jewellery for a year.
