

CHENNAI: IGNITE 2015, a three-day literary, cultural, documentary films, book and food festival was inaugurated by the Management of SBIOA Educational Trust on the SBOA School and Junior College premises, recently.
The festival was inaugurated by TP Sasi Kumar, space scientist and educationist, TV Venkateswaran, Vigyan Prasar, New Delhi, and Rahul Easwar, author, social activist and educationist.
P Rajeswari Menon, administrator, SBIOA Educational Trust, welcomed the guest of honour. A Krishnan, president, SBIOA Educational Trust delivered the Presidential Address. The overview of the mega event was explained by D Franco Rajendra Dev, Secretary and Correspondent, SBIOA Educational Trust. He ignited a spark in the student community and encouraged them to create their own dreams and never give up. Venkateswaran explained cultural evolution and the progress in food culture from the past to the current context. Rahul Easwar spoke about the uniqueness of every individual and their responsibility towards our planet. The inaugural function concluded with a vote of thanks rendered by Radhika Unni, Principal, SBOA School and Junior College.
