Education is the Biggest Asset

CHENNAI:  Vel Tech Multi Tech Dr RR Dr SR Engineering College celebrated its eleventh Convocation Day on its campus recently. Among the 827 graduates, 23 bagged university ranks in various departments. As many as 578 undergraduate and 249 postgraduate students graduated. Kishore Kumar Sansi, managing director and chief executive officer, Vijaya Bank, Bengaluru, was the chief guest of the event. In his address, Kishore recalled his graduate days and said that education was the only asset one could possess.

He encouraged students to study more, be positive and confident.  He urged students to be disciplined and work hard in life, before distributing medals to rank holders and degree certificates to graduates.  Vel R Rangarajan, founder chairman and president, Vel Tech University and Vel Group of Institutions and V Rajamani, principal, were also present.
