Sell Meals From Mobile Kiosks

Ladies Circle for empowering women, recently unveiled their flagship project at ECR named Project Kathir, a press release said. This project offers needy women an opportunity to earn their livelihood by selling meals from Kathir food kiosks. These are mobile kiosks at busy locations around the city. Ladies Circle funds the initial investment for setting up these Kiosks. These women will be trained on hygiene processes, communication, maintaining accounts, and dealing with the police in getting sanctions on business operations. Eco-kitchens will provide the raw materials, food, utensils, furniture and tools needed for the operation of the kiosk. 

Soft Skills, A Work Necessity

School of Management Studies, TN Open University conducted a one-day workshop titled ‘Role of Soft Skills for Faculties and Non-Teaching Staff’ recently, a release said. The vice-chancellor Chandrakantha Jeyabalan inaugurated the workshop. In her address, she emphasised the importance of acquiring soft skills and a work-life balance. Victor Louis Anthuvan, dean, research, LIBA, said the five essential factors for students  of any age-group were physical strength, emotional balance, spiritual maturity and social acceptability.
