CHENNAI:The Army has rescued more than 19,500 people stranded in various parts of the city. The Army that commenced the rescue operations with 15 teams on the night of December 1 has now over 60 teams working in co-ordination with the civil administration. On Sunday, 10 teams have been moved to Cuddalore and Bhuvanagiri for relief operations there.
