Admissions Open for Spring 2016 Semester at Swarnabhoomi Academy

CHENNAI: Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music is open for admissions for Spring 2016 semester in India and abroad. The next batch is scheduled to begin in January 2016. The deadline for submission of application is January 7.  Among the many courses offered at Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music, students can apply for the foundation music program, a preparatory 10-week intensive programme for those with limited or no formal training in music, a press release said. The total fee is close to four lakh, which is inclusive of food, accommodation in fully furnished serviced apartments, and facilities like gym, pool, media lab and library. Other courses offered are a one year diploma in music performance, two-year diploma in music performance, Single semester programme in music performance, one year diploma in music production and technology, and also the four-year bachelor’s degree in music performance (with McNally Smith College of Music, Minnesota), where students can transfer up to 60 credits (two years of study) towards completing their Bachelor of Music (B Mus) degree from MSCM.
